AIS opens office in Samui; expats party slated on October 1
Mobile phone service provider AIS will host an expats party Oct. 1 to celebrate the opening of its new outlet in Samui.
The party, to be held 4-6 p.m. at the newly opened AIS Samui Shop at Tesco Lotus in Bophut, also coincides with the company’s 20th anniversary.
The new AIS office and outlet, located near the Fuji Restaurant in the shopping complex, had a soft opening last Thursday, Sept.24.
The event was a casual affair with a Hawaiian theme. Light refreshments were served, highlighted by a dance performance and photo-taking opportunity.
During the shop’s opening, AIS not only presented programs dedicated to expats, it also showcased projects it had undertaken in support of local children on the island.

Samui: Imperial Boat House Samui is giving “relaxing” a new meaning with its new room refurbishments. The hotel, a member of the Imperial Hotels Group, underwent a “lavish” renovation recently in its 210 luxurious rooms, including the 11 Poolside Terrace, 115 Premiers, 42 Superiors and 34 Boat Suites.
